Paddling with the tide, Minnis bay to Margate

Spotting a forecast for a dropping tide, coinciding with no wind possibly building to a light westerly, we gathered the club for a downtide / downwinder from Minnis Bay back to Margate. The conditions delivered with a glassy start ending with a chilly but welcome tail wind helping us along the last couple of kilometres. Margs treated us to a classic Sunset on our return before drinks in the cosy Margate yacht club clubhouse!
